TEHAMA COUNTY PRESENTATION AWARD
WHAT IS THE PRESENTATION AWARD?
The Presentation Award is a trophy that is given to a 4-H member who has made five or more presentations during the club year and be recognized at the yearend Tehama County 4-H Awards Night!
WHY SHOULD I EARN THIS AWARD?
By participating, you can learn to organize a presentation, speak before groups, share the skills and knowledge you have learned in 4-H with others, promote 4-H in your community and show how 4-H has helped you.
HOW CAN I EARN THIS AWARD?
Requirements are:
1. Give a presentation at least five (5) times during the club year as follows:
a. Give your presentation at the club or project level.
b. Give your presentation at County Presentation Day.
c. Give your presentation at the Regional Presentation Day.
d. Give a presentation at least twice (2) before a non 4-H group. For example: Service Club, School Classroom, Senior Citizen Group, etc.
Presentations given to neighbors, relatives, or friends do NOT count.
2. Complete and submit a Presentation Award Application Form (SEE BELOW) to your Coordinating Leader or Presentation Leader in June.
3. All application forms will be checked to insure that your presentation was given (five (5) times) at the club, county, regional and community levels.
4. Your application form is to be turned in by the leader to the 4-H Office before Record Book Judging (September at the latest).
5. Presentation Award Trophies will be given out at our annual 4-H Awards Program.
